Raised on the rainy edges of Vancouver’s coastline and shaped by travels through New Orleans and Nashville, Steph Wall’s music blurs the line between genres but cuts straight to the heart. With roots in jazz, soul, alt-pop, and soft psychedelia, Wall’s songs are emotionally driven, blending vivid textures with candid storytelling. She has since collaborated with artists across genres, steadily building a catalogue that resists easy categorization and feels both deeply personal and invitingly expansive. Her EP, TANG!  captures this spirit in full colour. The project leans into playful, genre-fusing sounds while exploring the tensions of connection, self-trust, and desire. The latest single, “Start Your Engines,” channels the flirtatious energy of early-2000s pop-R&B, asking what it means to move toward, or away from, uncertain love.
