Recycled art Workshop at GIRR

As a part of Art with Youth Program, we are collaborating with GIRR!

Join us to at the local ReDirectory grounds to create artworks with reclaimed materials.

We will meet at the GIRR on Friday June 9th between 11 am-1pm, check out the store for materials and create artwork with them out at the outside booth. We will choose materials with missing pieces or which has less possibility of being reused for their original purpose. 

Come empty handed and leave the store with a new creation. 

This event is by donation and the proceeds will be shared between the two Societies.

This workshop is being held on the unceded stolen traditional territories of Penelakut, Lamalcha, Hwitslum and other Hul’qumi’num speaking peoples as well as the ceded territories of Tsawwassen First Nation, on what is now known as Galiano Island.
