LIMBINAL: music for many limbs, performed on two drum sets
Featuring drummers Dan Gaucher (Galiano Island) & Jen Yakamovich (Vancouver)
LIMBINAL is the culmination of a drums mentorship program between drummer/composer/improviser and Galiano resident Dan Gaucher, and Yellowhouse artist in residence Jen Yakamovich. For the past several months, Yakamovich has been studying four-limb coordination and composition on drum set with Gaucher. This double drumming performance is a free celebration of learning and collaboration, open to all ages.
