Introduction to pottery hand-building techniques with Laurie MacCallum

You will create functional pottery using pinch pot, coil and slab techniques, while exploring surface and

form. Lessons will take place over Zoom – participants will pick up clay and a few tools from

Yellowhouse beforehand, then work on their pieces at home. No experience necessary. Clay, glazes and

firings are included. A list of required tools will be handed out – you likely have most of the necessary

tools in your kitchen and around the house. Over 6 weeks.

Projects include: tea bowl or mug, low open plate or bowl, lidded jar...

Cost is $90 for zoom classes + firing + glazing per person or family.
