Danny Bell and His Disappointments play western-folk-psych-punk. Danny is an accordion player and percussionist whose music is steeped in an affection for his home in the hinterland, a blue collar town, the stink of the pulp mill, and the overlooked communities of Northern BC. Exclaim! Magazine described their music as “anti capitalist, anti-elitist, anti-asshole folk music for small moments in small places.” The band is touring in support of their latest album “Contemporary Accordion Music”, which charted on the Top 50 Canadian Campus and Community Radio charts.
