Jeffrey Wood, professionally known as Mr. Fantastik, is a highly acclaimed international Reggae dancehall and Afro-pop artist, renowned for his ability to deliver soul-stirring and uplifting music that resonates with audiences worldwide. His unique blend of R&B jazz vocals and gospel harmonies, set against the backdrop of contemporary reggae rhythms, creates a powerful and healing musical experience.

His latest album, "New Soul," produced by CMA award-winning producer Samuel Oja and co-produced by General Chicha, is a testament to his dedication to spreading peace, love, and motivation through his music. As a humanitarian activist and yogi based in Vancouver, BC, Canada, Mr. Fantastik draws inspiration from his upbringing in Cape Coast, Ghana, a town steeped in rich history, culture, and music.

From a young age, Mr. Fantastik was immersed in the vibrant musical and dance scene of Cape Coast, where he found inspiration from legendary musicians such as Afro Moses and Ebo Taylor. His passion for reggae dancehall music was ignited by rebel artists like Sizzla and Capleton, setting him on a path to international acclaim.

Throughout his career, Mr. Fantastik has shared stages with renowned artists such as Alpha Blondy, Elephant Man, and Morgan Heritage, captivating audiences at prestigious world music festivals across North America and beyond. His electrifying stage presence, combined with his fusion of African and Jamaican influences, and circus acrobatics, makes his performances a must-see spectacle.

Beyond music, Mr. Fantastik is dedicated to giving back to his community, organizing workshops and fundraising events to support the Center for National Culture Learning and Talent Development for street kids in Cape Coast, Ghana.

As a talented composer and songwriter, Mr. Fantastik has released several albums and EPs, earning him multiple awards and accolades, including the CMA Best Dancehall Song of the Year 2021,2022. International act of the year 2021, best reggae song of the year 2022 and have had over 20 nominations from various world music Award organizations. He continues to push boundaries and collaborate with artists from around the world, spreading his message of positivity and hope through his music.

With his mantra, "The life you live is the energy you project," Mr. Fantastik continues to inspire audiences to let the music play from within, reminding us that music is indeed the food for the soul.

This event is being held on the unceded, shared traditional territories of Penelakut, Lamalcha, Hwitslum and other Hul’qumi’num and SENĆOŦEN speaking peoples, Coast Salish Peoples of Galiano, as well as the ceded territories of Tsawwassen First Nation, on what is now known as Galiano Island.
