Star System returns To Galiano island for our 2nd annual Star System Fest at the Yellow house Arts Centre. Celebrating the Music and Philosophies of Visionary Jazz Composer and conceptualist Sun Ra, This Cosmic Jazz Orchestra explores the healing potential of sound through deep grooves, haunting melodies and celestial textures.

This year we have added an early (pre dinner time) family set for those who can’t make the full set later in the Evening.
5pm - 45 min Family set, Danceable and groovy good times for all! Bring the kids, bring some percussion! Let’s get COSMIC!
8:00 pm Full set. The band will perform a full set of Sun Ra Classics, taking the listener on a journey through sound to Saturn and back.
